Freedom: What Does It Really Mean?

When I ask people regarding what they want most in life, a common theme and popular answer is "freedom". When you start to peel back the layers to identify what freedom looks like and really is, they fall in below listed the categories. However, one other notable mention is spiritual freedom that unfortunately did not make Bec Robbin's below top ten freedom cuts, but to me as a christian, it is number one on my list, then the rest of these follow. I believe that the reason it was excluded is because so many people intertwine spirituality with relationship and emotional freedoms. At the end of this mortal life, I want me and everyone around me to be prepared for the heavenly realm so it stays at number one on my list.

The following 10 Freedoms underlie most of our big desires: (Compliments of Bec Robbins)

1. Financial Freedom – for those of us who value choice, power and security

2. Time Freedom – for those of us who value the flexibility, ease and pleasure

3. Relationship Freedom – for those of us who value love, intimacy and truth

4. Location Freedom – for those of us who value mobility and exploration

5. Creative Freedom – for those of us who value creativity, innovation and manifestation

6. Health Freedom – for those of us who value inner and outer wellbeing

7. Emotional Freedom – for those of us who value expression, joy and inner peace

8. Experiential Freedom – for those of us who value adventure, fun and novelty

9. Giving Freedom – for those of us who value contribution, generosity and legacy

10. Evolution Freedom – for those of us who value growth, change and personal development

I define freedom as having choices and possessing the emotional intelligence to remain in the states of joy, peace and love. Every living human being with the exceptions of those severely neurologically impaired possess the capability to exist with freedom and have it NOW. Yes, I said NOW as freedom starts with you and your MINDSET. You can harness the power of living in a vision of your future or the memories of your past, as stated by, and I am paraphrasing Dr. Joe Dispenza. You have to prepare , as well as, pray. You have to take action to secure your freedom. Unfortunately, finances play a huge role when it comes to having choices, being a contributor in solving big problems, but today you can have in the absence of wealth. The top 2-10 can be obtained today and through your choices you can begin to work one day at a time on number 1. It takes discipline and organization to obtain financial freedom and the art of obtaining it is consistency.

Financial freedom lies in doing what you love...yes, it takes sacrifice, but it does not feel like work. Choose something you can do everyday where you have to make yourself set boundaries and a stopping time, and you make sure you can monetize it....make it profitable. Once you get a steady income generating from doing what you love, then you invest it into opportunities that is passive in nature. Passive income is where your money makes you money in your sleep, such as stock and financial investments. Residual income is a beautiful opportunity as well such as network marketing, insurance opportunities, and real estate. Assess what you love doing and align yourself with an opportunity that is aligned with who you are, what you love, and that you can get discipline around, then make some money!
