Heart Attack Symptoms in Women

Did you Know?

According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, affecting one out of every three in the United States. Nearly half of African-American women have cardiovascular disease. Heart disease has a familial history in my family with both my biological parents, however heart disease is preventable and your genetic expression only has a 10% influence with you getting heart disease. The key is making sure you control your diet, exercise, and environment so that you do not get cardiovascular disease. Most women ignore the signs and symptoms of the heart attack as we tend not to put ourselves first so here are the symptoms that we should not ignore.

Coconut oil, moderate amounts of MCT oil, grass-fed butter, olive oil. and some quality balance of Omega 3, 6, and 9. Eat raw as much as possible, eat grass-fed animals meats and stay away from genetically modified foods which cause inflammation. Avoid sugar and genetically modified grains like the plague. Make it fun and make your plate colorful. If you are going to follow a "diet", please research ketogenic diet as it the best choice on the market today.

4. Stress Management. If you are like me you probably laughed when you read this one. Yes, life can be stress, but we do not have to let it effect our health. Yoga, breathing exercises, emotional freedom technique, meditation, and exercise can all be helpful. I personally adaptogenic herbs to assist me with stress management along with a variety of the above mentioned techniques.

5. Sleep. Make sure you are getting adequate rest to prevent your body being in a stressed state.

6. Detoxify your body. The environment in which we live is TOXIC and there is no avoiding it. I use a daily detox elixir which aids me in ridding my body of toxins I receive via the air. water, food, etc. Inflammation is the number one cause of chronic diseases so detoxify to reduce to prevent inflammation.
