Registering to Vote

In honor of Freedom Friday, I am taking the time to get on my soapbox about voting. See the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Presendential Primaries is coming soon. See it is easy to sit around and desier change than it is to get out there and do something about it. In our great country of the United States, our people have become complacent and ungrateful for the privilege to vote. At a minimum, everyone should be exercisinf there freedon to vote for a candidate that will promote the change they are desiring. Today, this post is not political in the sense that I am not discussing political parties, candidates, or views. I am discussing your privilege, your responsibility, and your indiviidual right to vote and protect our freedom. Voting doesn't guarantee your candidate will win, but it sure affords you the opportunity to give your desire a fighting chance. See you have to view yourself as a soldier in war, just because the soldier is equipped does not mean the war will be won, his entire army has to contribute and implement the winning strategy, but on the very fundamental level the individual contributor has to show up.
Encourage everyone to vote...see I used to live in Alabama and there is a predominant attitude that due to our low electoral vote contribution, our votes do not count. I like to say our votes matter the most when these electoral votes are split and too close to count so the cummalative national count does matter. See one person and one vote does make a difference. Nothing burns me more than to hear someone complain about the goverment, our country and how it being handled, then in the same breathe tell me they did not vote. If you are not going to vote, then excuse yourself from complaining about the current circumstances. See there are many ways in which you can contribute in a political forum, you can volunteer for your candidate, you can educate people on all candidates votings records and experience, you can bring your local church together to have these type of discussions, and by all means educate people on our 3 branches of governement and their purpose as you would be suprised at how many people lack this knowledge. Please just don't decide to do nothing and for the sake of liberty get out and vote.
