Ask, Seek, Knock

Everyone wants to feel better but wanting something doesn't produce fruit. Talking about wanting, does not yield a harvest. Action must be taken; unfortunately, most people stop just short of taking a step in the right direction because they do not know in which direction they should go. Might I suggest that you pen exactly what you desire for yourself? But don't stop there. After you write this list, pray over it. Ask God to reveal to you paths to take to reach these goals. BUT WAIT...there's more...don't stop there. Start seeking. Research the internet, ask a friend, find blogs that discuss your interest, seek the counsel of a Naturopath, meet with a nutritionist...knock on EVERY door, until you have found the path that will lead you to better health. You must be willing to do whatever is necessary to reach your wellness goals. I have found that "whatever necessary" is easier said than done. You'll need a change of heart and desire that trumps your cravings and your weaknesses. If you could do this without any help, then you probably wouldn't be where you are today. I know that it was true for me. Having someone to be accountable to, to reach out to when it felt like I'd die if I didn't have a glass of sweet tea or taste hot melted butter on warm bread, was a MUST. Taming our insatiable appetite for foods that harm us should not be a monumental feat, but it is. IT IS, I TELL YOU...lol Our transformation starts with asking God's will for us, seeking what that will is and then knocking on all doors until one is opened. The one who opens the door will most likely be equipped to guide you to your accountability partner and guide you down a path of discovery and transformation. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it. No longer do you have to talk about feeling better. You CAN feel better. "Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7 Ask, Seek, Knock - the first initials of each word point in which direction you should go. Your transformation starts the second you kneel in prayer and A-S-K
